What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agronomy Sales Representative position at Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA)?
Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA) is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the intermountain west. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of AGRONOMY SALES REPRESENTATIVE at the IFA Agronomy Center in Delta, Utah.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Calling on agricultural customers to sell fertilizers, chemical products, chemical application, and soil analysis services. Providing excellent customer service to patrons, meeting branch financial expectations. Working with branch manager to achieve branch sales and profit objectives, and working effectively with other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A 4-year degree in agronomy related education and experience in an agricultural sales environment.
- A CCA Certificate (Certified Crop Advisor) and commercial applications license are desirable.
- Current driver's license
- Understanding of basic math and ability to calculate formulas and percentages, ability to read and interpret written information
- Able to effectively use business computer software.
- Must be able to work both outside and in a dusty environment, and to lift 100 lbs. occasionally.
