What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate – Irrigation Specialist position at Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA)?
INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of SALES ASSOCIATE IRRIGATION SPECIALIST at the IFA Country Store in Roosevelt, Utah
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Share irrigation knowledge and expertise with customers and ensure that they receive the highest level of customer service.
- Provide customers with solutions to assist with their irrigation needs.
- Assist customers with their purchases including some parts assembly when needed.
- Look for opportunities to increase sales in the irrigation store.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean office area.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from customers in an informative, timely and cheerful manner.
- Stock shelves and ensure that irrigation parts are organized and properly displayed.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 2-4 years of equivalent customer service or sales experience. Familiarity with irrigation products and irrigation systems required. Exceptional customer service skills a necessity. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and sales minded. Experience with operating a cash register with additional experience using other computer software and programs. Able to calculate discounts, percentages, and perform basic math functions. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form.
