As an Activities Coordinator at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring our patients receive the best care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Patient Care: Planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operations of the department in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Assessing patients to determine their needs, preferences, abilities, and strengths.
- Developing individualized activity plans to promote social, cognitive, spiritual, and overall wellbeing of our patients.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Montana or ability to obtain within six months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional who is licensed or registered by the state of Montana
- Minimum of two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, one year of which was in a healthcare setting
