Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Intermountain Health Fillmore Community Hospital. This is a PRN position that requires flexibility and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
The ideal candidate will have current RN licensure in the state of Utah and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status, including cognitive, communicative, and developmental skills as appropriate
- Develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, incorporating input from patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Implement and evaluate care consistent with plans of care, guidelines, and professional licensure provisions
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless coordination and communication
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Utah
- BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience working in a critical access hospital or similar setting
Work Environment
This is a part-time PRN position with flexible scheduling. The successful candidate will be required to work variable shifts, including mornings, evenings, and nights, and may be expected to rotate through different departments within the hospital.
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $34.19 to $50.73 per hour, depending on experience.
