We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Saint Joseph Hospital. Salary and Benefits:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $37.17 to $54.53, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of critically ill newborns, develop individualized care plans, and provide timely interventions to address acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaboration with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Education and Professional Development: Stay current with the latest evidence-based practices, attend conferences and workshops, and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Licensure and Certification: Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado and certification as a Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree or BSN degree. Level 3 NICU experience for a minimum of 3 years.
- Education and Training: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and completion of a BSN degree within four years from the date of hire unless exempt from this requirement.
