At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
In this role, you will use your ingenuity and initiative to perform high-quality scans, working independently to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. You will also be responsible for administering oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to patients, as ordered by physicians and under radiologist or physician supervision.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infection control and sterile techniques, as well as the ability to operate CT equipment and related information systems effectively. You will also be responsible for following appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding, and charging, obtaining consents if necessary, documenting any events that may occur, and maintaining a current QC program for ACR.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Radiography Certification/Registration (ARRT)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (healthcare)
* CT Certification/Registration (ARRT)
