Job Summary
This is a critical role in the healthcare industry where you will be working as a radiologic technologist to perform medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician.
As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, ensuring proper patient identification, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
- Performing radiologic exams that produce quality images and ensures patient and staff safety.
- Utilizing sterile technique when performing invasive procedures.
- Recognizing emergent patient situations and responds quickly and appropriately.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications:
- ARRT registration.
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- IV certification.
