Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures using ionizing radiation.
About the Role
- You will work closely with our radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnoses.
- Your expertise in cross-sectional anatomy and anatomical positioning will enable you to prepare patients for exams and operate CT equipment effectively.
- You will also be responsible for administering oral barium products or intravenous contrast material to patients as ordered by physicians.
- Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and infection control practices is essential for this role.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide patient education are crucial for ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Radiography certification/registration (ARRT)
- Relevant state licensure (where required)
- Demonstrated CT proficiency
- BLS certification (healthcare)
- Post-hire expectations: Meets departmental IV certification competency within three months of hire.
- Preferred qualifications: CT certification/registration (ARRT) and 1 year(s) of CT experience.

Work Environment
This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week, with shifts from 9 pm to 6 am, Monday through Friday, and 6 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday. A shift differential of 10-15% applies due to the night shift.
