Job Description:
As an MRI Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies. You will select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete the exam, receive patients, explain method of examination, and position patient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent when indicated.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or one year minimum related experience and/or training, required- Current ARRT (R) or (MR)
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
- Ability to interact with people of all ages, required- At least one (1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist, preferred
