What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diagnostic Medical Imaging Professional position at Intermountain Health?
Educational Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have graduated from an accredited or certificate program in echo and/or vascular sonography.
The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain expertise in echo and/or vascular procedures
- Conduct ultrasound exams using relevant protocols and techniques
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
- Document exam results and patient information
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Additional Requirements:
- Eligibility to take the ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI boards in cardiac or vascular sonography
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
