- Sign-on Bonus: Up to $2500 for Eligible Applicants

Key Responsibilities
- Ensures Proper Patient Identification, Order Verification, and Prepares the Patient for the Exam
- Performs Radiologic Mammography Exams per Department Protocol, Including Advanced Procedures like Stereotactic Biopsies and Drainages
- Demonstrates Positioning Competency
- Knowledgeable Regarding Breast Self-Examinations via Answering Questions and Providing Written Materials to Patients
- Operates Mammographic Equipment to Ensure High-Quality Diagnostic Images are Produced
- Apropriately Uses Equipment, Maneuvers the Unit, and Selects Techniques to Produce Diagnostic Images
- Apropriately Uses Radiation Protection to Ensure Safety of Patients and Staff and Meets All ALARA Program Requirements
- Keeps Current on New Procedures and Equipment to Maintain High-Level Skills
- Maintains Records Required by JCAHO and the Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control
- Thoroughly and Accurately Completes all Required Documentation, Including Time Stamps and Image Storage
Requirements
- ARRT Registration
- Current Rad Tech License in the State of Practice
- Meets and Maintains Mammography Specific ACR & FDA/MQSA Requirements
- Meets and Maintains ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CT and X-Ray
- Experience in Imaging or Mammography
Salary Range: The Hourly Range for this Position is Listed Below. Actual Hourly Rate Dependent Upon Experience.
