Job Description :
The MRI technologist is responsible for compassionate and appropriate patient care while performing MRI examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis or treatment of injury.

Utah Valley Hospital is part of Intermountain Health a nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 395-bed facility is a full-service tertiary and acute care referral center serving Utah County. We are the only designated Level II Trauma Center between the Salt Lake Valley and St. George. So, our expert caregivers are specially trained to treat a wide range of patients, from those with the most severe injuries or illnesses to those undergoing a routine surgery or delivering a baby. We are a designated Stroke Center of Excellence and maintain Utah County's only medical hyperbaric chambers. More than 3000 babies are born each year at the hospital and we are accredited by the Joint Commission, complying with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care.
With Intermountain Health our MRI Technologists are responsible for performing MRI examinations under the direction of a physician to assist in the medical diagnosis or treatment of our patients.
