Key Responsibilities
- Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure production of high-quality images.
- Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring all necessary anatomical structures are captured.
- Maintain radiation safety guidelines and create a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Complete studies within acceptable time limitations without compromising patient care or image quality.
- Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
Requirements
- Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists (ARRT) (R)(CT), preferred
- 1-2 years of work experience in a hospital setting, preferred
