Duties and Responsibilities
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams, ensuring proper identification and order verification
- Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and exam results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Education and Certification:
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or Computed Tomography
- Relevant state licensure (where required)
