Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of formal ultrasound training in an AMA-approved school or equivalent on-the-job training.
- RDMS Physics SPI Registry or equivalent Society registration (ARRT, CRGS, etc.).
- Registry in 4 or more Specialties.
- BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular, and interventional ultrasound.
Work Environment
The Sonographer will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, requiring frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors. The role involves standing for extended periods, walking, and assisting with patient transport. Manual dexterity is necessary for operating complex equipment and typing for documentation.
