Job Summary:
The Intermountain Health Athletic Trainer will provide on-site athletic training services at a secondary school and outpatient orthopedic practice. This role requires collaboration with a Sports Medicine Physician to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries, while also engaging in community outreach and educational programs.
This position entails providing outreach athletic training services at the secondary school setting/outpatient orthopedic practice, under the direction of a Sports Medicine Physician. The Athletic Trainer will assist in evaluation and treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries and sports-related injuries.
The position provides athletic training coverage, both 'on-the-field' and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events. Duties may extend to assisting other local high schools and college settings, community sporting events, and regional sporting camps/activities.
