Job Summary
The Life Flight Neonatal Nurse is responsible for providing critical care in diverse environments, such as aircraft or ambulances, for critically ill patients of various age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide or delegate care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines of care, and professional licensure provisions.
- Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise the plan of care as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
