About the Job
This part-time position requires a strong commitment to quality patient care, collaboration with clinical teams, and adherence to strict safety protocols. To be successful in this role, you must hold an associate's degree in sonography and current ARDMS certification in OB/GYN.
Responsibilities
- Operate all of the Ultrasound Imaging and related equipment.
- Educate, position, immobilize and perform Perinatal Ultrasound procedures.
- Coordinate Perinatal Ultrasound examination to ensure timeliness, quality and continuity of patient care.
- Understand and follow provider Imaging orders correctly.
- Submit required images and related clinical information for interpretation. Evaluate image quality.
- Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies.
- Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies.
