About this role :
As a Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Intermountain Health, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals devoted to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. Our integrated Sports Medicine team employs state-of-the-art techniques and innovative therapies to create tailored treatment plans addressing the full continuum of care.
As the inaugural Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Ephraim Clinic, you will establish a robust practice within this vibrant rural community. You will treat patients of all ages for issues such as fracture care and sports-related concussions, while also performing advanced procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections and orthopedic biologics (PRP).
In this role, you can anticipate :
- Primarily practicing at Ephraim Clinic while rotating weekly to Sanpete Valley Hospital in Mt. Pleasant and Sevier Valley Hospital in Richfield.
- A new hospital and clinic set to open in Ephraim in 2027.
- Managing your own patient-panel call, along with shared ED call with local Orthopedic Surgeons.
- Providing coverage for sanctioned high school sports in Ephraim.
- Performing advanced injection techniques, including plasma, nerve blocks, and diagnostic ultrasound.
- Receiving a signing bonus and relocation assistance.
