Job Description:
The Registered Radiology Technologist performs medical imaging examinations under the direction of a physician, ensuring proper patient identification and preparation for exams. This role requires sensitivity to patients' needs throughout procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts radiologic exams that produce quality images while prioritizing patient and staff safety.
- Utilizes sterile technique for invasive procedures.
- Recognizes emergent situations and responds accordingly.
- Maintains accurate documentation and coordinates patient care with other providers.
- Ensures a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
- ARRT registration
- Current Rad Tech license in state of practice (if working in Utah)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications:
- IV certification
