Job Description

As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by physicians or radiologists.
• Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines for the Emergency Department and nursing units.
• Process films for radiologists' interpretation following established procedures.
• Maintain patient information by purging or updating patient film jackets and/or filing reports or film files.
• Maintain imaging and processing equipment by performing scheduled cleanings and tests.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an approved radiological training program.
• Ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• At least one year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department.
