Job Description
As a Radiology Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas as directed by physicians or radiologists.
- Perform x-ray procedures using portable machines for the Emergency Department and nursing units.
- Process films for radiologists' interpretation following established procedures.
- Maintain patient information by purging or updating patient film jackets and/or filing reports or film files.
- Maintain imaging and processing equipment by performing scheduled cleanings and tests.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an approved radiological training program.
- Ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- At least one year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department.
