About the Role:
- Provide advanced respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic testing procedures, such as arterial gases, to assess patient condition
- Administer medications safely and effectively, monitoring patient response and adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Graduate of a NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Current license as Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice
- BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Specific certifications as required (e.g., PALS, ACLS, NRP)
