Your responsibilities will include supervising and/or providing direct patient care, assisting and supporting staff in responding to patient/family complaints and physician concerns, and participating in departmental productivity management.
You will also collaborate with the staffing office to adjust numbers of staff for census changes during the shift, communicate with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing, pending admissions and discharges, any problems they need to be aware of, and any patient information that will be helpful in making assignments.
