Job Title: Speech Pathologist
The Speech Pathologist is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. Additionally, this position involves consulting, educating, and training patients and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical services, adhering to standards of care and evidence-based practices, with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity of service for each patient's needs.
- Complies with department and regulatory requirements and guidelines for all types of documentation, charging, and scheduling.
- Supervises and educates colleagues, new employees, students, and others in training when requested.
- Mentors student clinician externship/affiliations/new employee(s).
- Maintains effective and appropriate communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and other caregivers.
- Participates in patient care conferences when appropriate, as well as staff meetings and other meetings as required or requested by supervisor.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program, with a verified degree.
- A current state Speech Pathologist license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for healthcare providers.
- Basic computer skills, including word processing and email.
- A current certificate of clinical competence.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Speech Pathology experience.
- Bilingual Spanish & English.
Work Environment:
This position requires the ability to hear/listen, lift, use manual dexterity, pull/push, see, sit, speak, squat/kneel, stand, and walk.

Intermountain Health Cassia Regional Hospital, Burley, Idaho.
