Job Description:
The Student Programs Manager leads the student programs team and focuses on student experience as a means of recruiting the best and brightest and creating a future workforce that reflects the community Intermountain serves.This role will work primarily Monday-Friday, 8-5, with occasional hours outside of that for special events. It will be a hybrid role, mostly remote but there are some expectations for on-site work and travel around the region. There are no on-call shifts.
This position is responsible for facilitating experiences for students within assigned Intermountain facilities and collaborates with managers and preceptors to ensure students legally and safely gain experiences that develop their careers.
The incumbent acts as liaison between educational institutions, students, and Intermountain and collaborates with a variety of stakeholders including Talent Acquisition and other HR partners, department managers and preceptors, students, and outside academic agencies. This position leverages technology and automation to assess pipeline needs to place students in the various Intermountain facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing and completing projects demonstrating a high degree of autonomy, organization, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Two years of professional experience in healthcare or education
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications, negotiation, and public relations skills
- Demonstrated strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Experience creating and delivering written and verbal communications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
- Experience in student placement programs.
- Professional experience in healthcare.
