Our caregivers work together to provide a collaborative, friendly environment and provide safe, quality, and individualized care and services.The Procurement Specialist position is responsible for supporting the Procurement Process, Category Management team and Sourcing Centers of Excellence (COE).  The Procurement Specialist will work collaboratively with internal Procurement teams and SCO customers to facilitate project steps through completion. Working directly with the Category Managers and Sourcing COE, the successful Procurement Specialist proactively communicates and collaborates while moving projects through the defined procurement process according to Intermountain policies and procedures.  This work requires attention to detail, project management skills, and ability to communicate effectively.Posting SpecificsEntry Rate: $26.18 depending on experienceBenefits Eligible: Yes, check them out hereShift Details: Full-time, 40 hours per weekThis is a fully remote opportunityOverviewThe Procurement Specialist supports the project intake process, catalog item adds, pricing accuracy, contract repository, project/work requests, and the contract life cycle for quality assurance, prioritization, and process. This individual will support category management and sourcing-based work, including reviewing business requirements, the content scope of initiatives, expectations of the requests, quality measures, and track a projects progress throughout the project lifecycle.This position will work within the Procurement Supply Chain Organization (SCO) function (Category Management, Sourcing COE, and Procurement Operations), cross functionally (collaborating with SCO Operations, and SCO customers) to support the completion of Procurement related projects.Minimum QualificationsExperience managing projects, prioritizing work in a fast-paced business environment, communicating effectively (verbal and written), providing high levels of customer service, working on a teamExperience using ERP and/or project management softwareMastery of office technology tools (including but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience working in supply chain, procurement, or healthcarePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field.Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.1-3 years industry expertise in contracting or sourcing.Extensive knowledge of healthcare supply chain and related categories such as, pharmacy, products, services, software, and equipment is highly preferred.Physical Requirements:Interact with Others requiring the employee to communicate information.and -Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.and -See and Read computer monitors and documents.and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.Location:Supply Chain CenterWork City:MidvaleWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
