Job Description:
The position of Clinical High Reliability Manager at Intermountain Healthcare leads at the enterprise level with clinical high reliability services focused on patient and caregiver safety, clinical risk management and patient and caregiver experience. These functions are aligned through principles of High Reliability Operations (HRO). The incumbent will work collaboratively with operating structures across the clinical enterprise.Position Details:
This is a dynamic position that has Regulatory and expanded Quality Duties.
This role is primarily based at Lutheran Medical Ce, but may help cover other care sites within Intermountain Health.
Incumbent will work days, with occasional early starts or late evening shifts. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in a health-related field or at least three (3) years of regulatory experience
- Current knowledge and proficiency of Regulatory Requirements such as CDPHE, CMS, and Joint Commission
- Demonstrated experience and competence in the application of Performance Improvement principles and process change
- Strong coaching, teaching and facilitation skills
- Excellent Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel, Proficient skills in telephone, internet, regulatory applications, and other new technology
- Patient safety focus
- Certification in Regulatory arena (or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Management experience
- Regulatory Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Ability to lead through influence and strong communication skills
- Previous clinical experience at Good Samaritan Medical Center
