Chiropractic Assistant/Exercise Therapist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
-Open and close the clinic properly
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide accurate information to guests regarding inquiries about the company or services/assist in patient education
-Manage providers calendars/patient appointments appropriately
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying/correctly handle and record patient records
-Perform passive modalities on patients when needed/assist doctors with patient care and muscle work when needed
-Work well with the team to ensure patient and doctor satisfaction and smooth operations
-Other assignable tasks as needed
-Available in office advancement with on site training available for exercise therapist role/some certifications will need to be obtained. Duties would include: performing passive/isometric/assisted stretching on patients; properly demonstrating exercises for patients per recommendations of doctors; educating patients on proper form etc. for assigned exercises/rehab therapies.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Show a genuine care for helping others/be a team player
- Proficient in using phone systems/computers and other office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma or equivalent
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
-Ability to learn efficiently & adapt to a growing clinic
