What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator position at Intermountain Wood Products?
Intermountain Wood Products: is seeking a hard working individual to join our customer service team. New or experienced forklift drivers and commercial truck drivers are welcome. Our Core Purpose is " To Enhance the Quality of Life for All We Associate With". As such, we are focused on a teamwork environment that is fast paced and customer service centered. We are a wholesale hardwood company servicing the cabinetry and flooring industries.
Position Details:Primary responsibilities include forklift driving and warehouse work including preparing orders for delivery and helping will call customers. This includes loading and securing material to flatbed and curtain-side trucks and trailers. We are looking for an individual with a positive customer service attitude and an aptitude to learn hardwood product knowledge.
- No weekends, no nights.
- Includes lifting up to 50 lbs, and hand unloading heavy materials.
- Paid Training
Full time position: Monday through Friday, Between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm.
Desired Experience: Forklift and warehouse experience is not required but desired. Lumber yard, hardwood knowledge, and customer service experience is also plus.
- Minimum age of 18 to apply.
- Pre-employment drug screens are required. *Must pass a drug test*
Compensation: $18 per hour, depending on experience.
