Job Summary:Operate Front Desk and POS register. Responsible for the overall cleanliness and look of the Recreation Center.
The Details:Position Type: Part-Time, Year-RoundPay: $14.90 per hourSchedule: Up to 20 hours per week, schedule may vary.
Housing: This position is not eligible for company housing.

Responsibilities
- Operate Front Desk and POS register according to Recreation Center procedures and policy.
- Assist with events and activities lead by Event Coordinators.
- Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the Recreation Center by performing custodial duties including, but not limited to lifting, sweeping, disposing of waste, and vacuuming.
- Assist with programming events and activities directed by Event Coordinators.
- Open and close the Recreation Center as scheduled according to procedure.
- Always presents a professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.
- Maintain inventory and record use of equipment and supplies.
- Assume trip leader responsibilities in the absence of an Attendant, facilitating trips within Northern Arizona.
- Assist in enforcing Recreation Center policies to the patrons.
- Adhere to all safety and risk management policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and experience with Word and email programs.
- Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to acquire CPR/First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge and use of fitness equipment.
- Must possess or be able to acquire an Arizona driver’s license and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card within first 2 weeks in the position.
