The Details:Position Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundPay: $16.05 per hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
- Greet new employees. Give them a tour of the grounds and facilities and explain house rules to them.
- Ensure that assigned areas are cleaned on a daily basis throughout the day, including exterior areas and laundry facilities. Issue cleaning supplies as requested.
- Conduct employee check out of cabins ensuring cleanliness and noting any damage which the employee is responsible for.
- Report maintenance problems to the housing office and follow up on completion of same.
- Check for guest passes and ensure that non-employees are not allowed in the cabins.
- Prepare vacant cabins as quickly as possible for the next resident.
- Contact Fire & Security and/or National Park Service Rangers as necessary for medical and/or security situations.
- Assist Fire & Security as much as possible whenever a fire alarm sounds.
- Order cleaning supplies as necessary, maintaining a sufficient stock on hand.
- Assist in other housing areas as assigned on a daily basis after cabin priorities are completed.
- Adhere to all safety, risk management policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
- Ensure that quiet hours are being adhered to by all residents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good verbal communication skills with ability to confidently and tactfully interact with employees to enforce policies and procedures.
- Ability to recognize maintenance and safety related hazards.
- Ability to follow direction and complete work without close supervision.
- Willing to work a variety of shift hours.
- Must have ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Possess or obtain a valid Arizona’s Driver’s License within 90 days of start date and comply with the Xanterra South Rim Company Vehicle Policy.
