Job Summary:
Mechanical Technician will be assigned a location in the park and will operate, maintain and repair HVAC and direct digital control systems in various facilities. The role involves documenting work performed, assisting with facility openings/closings, managing preventive maintenance procedures, and overseeing seasonal startup and shutdown of mechanical systems. The position demands technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement in HVAC system management within the park setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide the technical skills and experience required to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and direct digital control systems
- Provide assistance and oversight for the cyclic opening/closing of all facilities and the Spring/Fall startup/shut down of all mechanical systems
- Accountable for proper and accurate documentation of labor & materials for work performed in accordance with established company procedures
- Responsible for the performance of and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment and systems
Qualifications
- Experience completing common HVAC repairs and maintenance
- Experience in the operation and use of equipment and tools common to the HVAC trades
- Previous experience with HVAC system Direct Digital Controls; or the aptitude required to quickly gain an understanding of HVAC control systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly gain proficiency in company-specific software
- General knowledge of OSHA requirements and the use of personal protective equipment
- Desire and ability to advance their HVAC knowledge and expertise through on-the-job training and self-study
Physical Requirements Include:
- May require the use of respiratory protection and will require compliance with applicable regulations
- Ability to walk over uneven terrain and climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions
- Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Physical stamina to perform labor of moderate intensity, sometimes in an outside environment at high altitude (6,800 feet above sea level)
- Standing, bending, kneeling, crawling, for extended periods of time are required
- Must be at least 19 years old and have valid driver’s license; good driving record required
