Windstar Cruises, recognized as the World’s Best Small Ship Cruise line, is seeking a senior-level Graphic Design/Art Director professional with strong digital experience to join our Corporate team in Doral, FL.  The Senior Designer/Art Director will be a pivotal part of our creative team, bringing expertise in UX/UI, digital advertising, photo editing, and creative asset management. This role requires a strong portfolio across multiple digital platforms, and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion with high-level design skills and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring visual consistency and innovation across all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

UX/UI Design:

• Lead the design of user-friendly digital experiences for web and mobile, focusing on usability and functionality.
• Collaborate with developers to create seamless, aesthetically pleasing interfaces.

Digital Ads & Campaigns:

• Conceptualize and execute impactful digital advertising campaigns (banner ads, social media, email visuals).
• Optimize designs for performance metrics such as click-through rates and engagement.

Email Design:

• Own the design of visually engaging, responsive email templates aligned with branding and campaign goals.

Photo Editing & Selection:

• Lead photo selection, sorting, and editing for use across marketing materials and digital platforms.

Creative Asset Management:

• Organize and manage a digital asset library, ensuring up-to-date and easily accessible creative files.

Presentation Design:

• Design impactful, visually engaging presentations for internal and external use, including pitch decks.

Content Creation for Social Media:

• Provide creative direction and design for platform-specific content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive design solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering creativity and growth.

Brand Consistency & Innovation:

• Ensure visual design and messaging consistency across digital and print materials.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce fresh, innovative design ideas.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple projects, balancing creativity with deadlines and resource constraints.
• Provide accurate time estimates and help prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, UX/UI Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Designer and/or Art Director with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other industry-standard design software.
• Experience with photo editing and selection for marketing purposes.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, web design standards, and digital ad best practices.
