An existing ICG Financial Services client is seeking a Project Manager who has experience in ASIC’s Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO). The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of the Direct Distribution team through both designing and managing the implementation. In addition to the Direct Distribution team’s operational readiness the Project Manager will also be responsible for managing two business analyst who will be working on ensuring the readiness of data, monitoring/reporting and ‘choice’ architecture.
Role
It is expected that the successful candidate will have:
- Strong project management skills to map out and manage the delivery of the above
- Excellent communication skills in the context of putting forward a clear plan and regularly providing updates
- The ability to collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders including the distribution leadership team, risk, compliance and change managers
- Experience and detailed knowledge of the Design and Distribution Obligations required by ASIC and/or detailed experience in product and distribution design in retail banking products/services
- A team player in a multifaceted complex organisation
- 5 years’ experience in a Big 4 consulting firm in the above mentioned areas and/or similar experience working for a Retail Bank in Australia
Start date: Immediate start, duration 4-6 months, with the potential to move on to other projects in related areas.
Location: Australia wide – Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne with remote working being possible. Although Brisbane to enable some onsite collaboration would be preferred
Rates: Daily rate for this role is commensurate with seniority and is set at $1,645/day paid to the right professional.
