Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care and a commitment to supporting healthcare professionals within a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and document vital signs and patient information
- Perform in-house tests and procedures
- Administer injections and vaccines
- Collect blood samples and prepare lab specimens (both blood and urine)
- Process medication orders through e-prescriptions
- Prepare lab and imaging requisitions
- Manage inventory, including tracking, ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
- Assist with patient check-ins, check-outs, and follow-up communications as needed
- Handle phone inquiries as necessary
Qualifications
- Certification in Medical Assisting is required
- Preferably, a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in patient care procedures and medical terminology
- Strong ability to manage multiple clinical tasks with precision
- Experience with eClinicalWorks and computer literacy is a plus
