We are seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, and updating patient records
- Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures
- Administer injections, immunizations, and other treatments as directed by physicians
- Answer telephones, schedule appointments, greet patients, and provide general administrative support
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and order supplies
- Maintain medical records and ensure they are updated in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
