Front End Medical Office
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, both in person and over the phone.
- Verify patient information and update demographics as needed.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule new and follow-up appointments using practice management software, coordinating with providers' availability.
- Manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling requests. .
- Administrative Tasks:
- Collect patient co-pays and process payments according to established procedures.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients.
- Prepare and maintain patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- File patient paperwork and maintain organized records system.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Take accurate messages and relay information to healthcare providers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and practice management software.
