Envera is a legal entity of Lesaffre located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Envera manufactures bacteria solutions for Lesaffre BUs and different market segments such as wastewater treatment, bioremediation, cleaning solutions and many other areas where bacteria can play a key role.

What you bring to the table
Having the ability to work autonomously in the lab with a collaborative spirit. The expertise to work on several research projects that run concurrently which requires your valuable workload balancing capabilities. Utilizing your core competencies in standard lab methods and your excellent aseptic techniques, as well as your highly developed technical writing skills and efficient study of scientific literature.
What you will do as a Research Technician
- Routinely perform techniques such as Enzyme Assays and Product Efficacy Evaluation.
- Collaborate with other team members for large projects and work independently on smaller projects.
- Adapt to novel techniques and equipment.
- Work on projects that can range from customer requested tests during product development, internal projects to isolate new bacteria strains, to larger projects involving multiple world-wide researchers at sister companies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
To succeed you must hold:
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or other science related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of lab experience.
- Knowledge in standard laboratory methods and procedures.
- Strong curiosity of, and comfort working in, areas of biology and industrial microbiology.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
