Overview
Internal Security Associates, LLC (ISA) is a highly professional private security firm seeking highly qualified personnel to work as armed and unarmed security officers in the Boston Metro area, North Shore, South Shore, Metro West, Western MA as well as Fall River, New Bedford, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard Island areas.
ISA provides continuous armed and unarmed security at state government buildings, schools, colleges, foreign consulates as well as for many private sector clients. We are a 24/7 company, so team members need to be able to work the shifts and locations as needed by our clients. In addition to the requirements for relevant military and/or security experience, this position requires a background screen and a positive employment history. Qualified candidates will undergo extensive interviews as well as comprehensive background/criminal history investigations and drug testing. Candidates with a military background must provide a copy of their latest DD214. Selected candidates should expect to be held to standards similar to that found in military and police organizations.

Armed Security Officers needed in Cambridge, MA
- $23-28/hr depending on experience - Weekly Pay
- FT/PT - 1st & 2nd shifts
- Some positions will be Unarmed
Requirements
- Class-A Massachusetts LTC
- Must have at least 10 years Law Enforcement and/or Military experience or 15 years of Security experience (or a combination)
- High School diploma or equivalent mandatory, but College Degree in a related field from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Dept. of Education or its foreign equivalent
- Helpful, courteous, customer-focused attitude
- Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED or the ability to obtain prior to starting
- Proficiency with computers and aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Ability to function in high-stress situations and exercise sound, critical decision-making
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with security equipment, access control, and surveillance systems preferred
- Proven SO experience in a private sector corporate setting
- Familiarity with laboratory environments
- Advanced training in De-Escalation techniques

Candidates for armed security officer positions must have significant military, law enforcement or armed security training and experience. The position requires strong communication skills, a command presence, report writing capabilities, as well as the ability to act in a customer service capacity. Military and/or law enforcement training and experience is highly desirable. Armed officers may also be assigned to unarmed post to meet the client needs. Pay rate based on experience and assignment.
