JOB SUMMARY: Employee is responsible for the administrative tasks and customer interaction supporting the in processing and out processing of privately-owned vehicles (POVs). Their primary role is as part of the Mobile Response Team (MRT) responsible for all Homeport relocations and as needed for VPC coverage. They will conduct detailed vehicle inspections both interior and exterior while working with the Service Member. This will be a dual role position performing both customer service and vehicle service tasks to support VPC operations locally and remotely as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must follow all safety requirements in accordance with IAL policies
- Greet customers, provides information, direct activities and offer assistance
- Perform a combination of clerical tasks to support administrative operations, to include creating and maintaining electronic and hard copy records and files, receiving, preparing and verifying documents, preparing reports and other general administrative duties
- Perform scanning, uploading and filing to maintain accurate data files
- Conduct pre-inspection of vehicles as well as detailed joint inspection of vehicles to include interior and exterior on vehicle inspection form to include vehicle for all safety equipment, identifying leaks and pre-existing damage
- Prepare property inventory in shipping box to include jack, lug wrench, wheel locking device and floor mats
- Operate a digital camera to record defects and damage
- Uploading pictures from digital camera into computer
- Places and maintains decals on vehicles, washes, and cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles
- Perform the above duties in accordance with the IAL Standard Operating Procedures
- Respond to routine request by phone, in person, or by correspondence
- Maintains clean work areas to include inspection area
- Ability to perform multi-task with minimal supervision
- May be required to work outside of normal duty hours to include weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned by Management
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to travel with short notifications without conflict.
- Must be able to travel within the United States to other VPC’s and military installations and remain for extended periods.
- Must be able to gain access to military installation (no felony convictions)
- Must be customer oriented and possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate to people
- Must be able to perform accurate data entry tasks, scanning and uploading documents
- Communicate appropriately and demonstrate ability to work with management, staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and coworkers
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a standard transmission
- High school graduate or GED
- Previous computer, data entry experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability with Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus
- Previous automotive experience is preferred
- Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking the English language
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Drug Free work environment
- Must be able to travel within United States without hesitation to assist in remote processing of vehicles
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to perform duties in a normal office environment as well as inclement weather, lift to 50 lbs., possess physical capability to stoop, twist and bend to complete car inspections on the lower areas of vehicles.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work performed indoors and outdoors and at times in inclement weather
