What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campaign / PUP Technician position at International Auto Processing?
At IAP LLC, the Campaign / PUP Technician is responsible for inspecting vehicles according to manufacturer's requirements and according to PDI checklist and updated bulletins.
Essential Duties :
- Perform interior checks for fit and finish, electrical and mechanical inspections of accessories and lights.
- Perform exterior inspection for body damage or poor fit.
- Complete PDI Check sheet and other paperwork in an efficient and thorough manner.
- Inspect the exterior paintwork for defects or damage.
- Work one on one with the manufacturer.
- Perform wet sand, high-speed buff, and polish vehicles.
- Complete small paint touch-ups.
- Work with detail department on problems found.
- Make judgement calls on the severity of identified defects / problems.
- Maintain a clean and hazard free work environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned including travel to offsite facilities.
- SHIFT : Monday - Friday 6 : 30am - 3 : 00pm with possible overtime and weekend work as directed by business need.
