What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at International Auto Processing?
At International Auto Processing LLC, the Driver will operate in accordance with vehicle handling procedures and safety rules, and drive vehicles to designated points as instructed.
Essential Duties :
- Drive vehicles to designated points as instructed in accordance with vehicle handling procedures and safety rules.
- Use hand-held scanning devices.
- Park vehicles in approved manor insuring proper spacing between vehicles
- Return to the van without delay to be transported to the next location.
- Observe all safety precautions and speed limits.
- When driving vehicles to the load line, verify load line number and park vehicle in correct lane.
- Place work orders and / or other inserts in the vehicles as instructed
- In accordance with policies and procedures, obey all safety procedures (i.e., accident reporting), hazardous communications standards and vehicle handling procedures.
- Ensure a spotter is present when backing up vehicles.
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Shift :
- A Shift : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm
- C Shift : Monday - Thursday 4 : 30pm - 1 : 00am & Friday 3 : 30pm - 12 : 00am
