What are the responsibilities and job description for the IBEN Associate position at International Baccalaureate?
The IBEN department is the main point of contact for internal stakeholders (other IB departments) and for each region’s Educators to communicate and collaborate with each other in a variety of roles including relationship management, recruitment, training and upskilling. As the IB continues to grow, the organization intends to broaden the access and impact of its services and programs. Therefore, the management (strategic and operational) and infrastructure for these educators is of vital importance for the execution of the IB strategy. To this effect, this position is responsible for the oversight of the IB Educator’s network by assigning high quality educators to all regional events, handling administrative responsibilities, facilitating Educator training events and workshops, communicating with Educators regularly and handling the Educator databases and systems.
- Analyze educator pool and allocate educators who meet QA standards to IB events.
- Collaborate with other IBEN associates globally to ensure alignment of processes and correct implementation of policies.
- Develops, maintains and uses the IB educator profile in order to identify and select IB educators for events.
- Forecast educator need to calculate the need for future trainings.
- Organize/attend meetings with relevant staff regarding allocation
- Function as SME in addressing the development of new processes and systems that impact the department and our stakeholders
- Support in organizing educator training logistics and IB conference logistics in reference to IBEN events.
- Accountable for accurate reporting to IBEN team about allocation status.
- Responsible for BQC IBEN related operations.
- As needed, manages the implementation of regional and global projects that align with strategic IB goals.
Recruitment:
- If required, supports the global IBEN team and lead educators throughout the recruitment process of educators interested in new and ongoing development in the IB Educator Network pathway.
- Handle queries from educators and other key stakeholders.
- Provides educators and internal stakeholders with all required information about events
- Provides IBEN management with all required information about educators
- Maintains oversight of customer service platform and IBEN general inbox.
Global and Regional projects, policies & procedures:
- As needed, participates and contributes to the development and implementation of regional and global projects that align with strategic IB goals, such as recruitment processes for various IBEN roles.
- Ensure that adequate procedures and processes are in place to support internal and external workflow
- Follow IBEN policies, procedures and guidelines in conjunction with regional counterparts within the School Office.
- Ensure that systems and practices are compliant with local legal requirement regulations in order to minimize risks for the IB.
Qualifications:
- Preference –familiarity with the IB or IB programs.
- Bachelor’s degree social studies, HR or similar field.
- Two years’ experience in managing data and business systems and/or customer service
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft suite and preferably some knowledge of salesforce)
