We are seeking an entry level IT developer for a long term consulting assignment for a leading international banking institute based in New York City.
Position Overview
You will learn and assist with the design, development, and support of various banking applications that utilizes or integrates with 3rd party tools such as FircoSoft or Actimize or eGIFTS to ensure all data and applications used in the bank meets the regulatory risk and compliance requirements and security measures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience/internship in the banking industry, focusing on database development and management.
- Proficient in SQL and database management (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
