We are seeking a skilled mid-level FircoSoft/Actimize Database Developer for a leading international banking institute based in New York City, committed to delivering comprehensive financial services with a focus on compliance, risk management, and seamless payment solutions. This is a long term consulting assignment.
Position Overview
As a Mid-Level FircoSoft and Actimize Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions for our compliance and payment systems. You will work closely with compliance, risk, and IT teams to ensure the effective implementation of Actimize and FircoSoft applications, as well as eGIFTS from GiftSoft. Your role will involve supporting automated clearinghouse and payment processing systems that utilize Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, RTGS, and SWIFT networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain:
Design, develop, and maintain databases and application solutions for FircoSoft and Actimize to support compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Application Integration:
Integrate and enhance eGIFTS from GiftSoft for automated clearinghouse and payment processing across multiple networks including Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, RTGS, and SWIFT.
- Database Management:
Develop and manage SQL databases, stored procedures, triggers, and data migrations to support application requirements.
- Compliance and Risk:
Implement and optimize compliance solutions using Actimize for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), fraud detection, and risk management.
- Testing and Troubleshooting:
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, processes, and application integrations.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with compliance, risk, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in the banking industry, focusing on database development and management.
- Hands-on experience with Actimize and FircoSoft applications for compliance and risk management.
- Experience with eGIFTS from GiftSoft or similar automated payment processing applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SQL and database management (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
- Strong understanding of payment networks including Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, RTGS, and SWIFT.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Compliance Knowledge:
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to AML, KYC, and OFAC compliance in the banking sector.
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin (Highly Desired).
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
