What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at International Biomedical?
QUALITY INSPECTOR
The quality inspector is required to accurately report findings, data, and inspection results using reporting documents and defined quality procedures. This will require an intuitive understanding of product definitions utilizing geometric dimensioning and tolerance. Inspections will be performed using various types of defined inspection methods and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to inspect and /or test mechanical parts and assemblies produced outside the plant to ensure conformance with defined drawings and quality standard.
- Proficient using calipers, micrometers, various gages, and other sophisticated measurement equipment with GD&T experience.
- Ability to inspect PCB and cabling harnesses.
- Ability to inspect soldered joints and electro-mechanical subassemblies using schematic circuit diagrams.
- Understanding of Non Conforming Material data entry and MRB process.
- Must be a self-starter and able to schedule work in-progress to complete jobs on time.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
- Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485:2003, Medical Devices Directives and other applicable International Standards preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years proven quality control and inspection experience in a related industry is recommended.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
