We are a leading medical device manufacturer in north Austin, seeking a responsible and energetic Shipping/Receiving Associate to join our team. This entry-level role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in shipping and receiving. The position involves managing incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting parts for accuracy, and ensuring timely deliveries. The hours are from 8-5 M-F.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull parts from stockroom for shipping
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity, and accuracy
- Package and ship finished products
- Generate shipping documents using company software
- Ensure compliance with all documented quality requirements and processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly to requests
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and motor freight shipping methods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
