What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at International Biomedical?
Medical Device manufacturer in north Austin seeks a responsible, self-motivated, and energetic person to fill a Shipping-Receiving Associate position. Must be dependable and have both speed and accuracy in stocking, pulling, labeling parts and data entry. The hours are from 8-5 M-F.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pulling parts from stockroom for the production floor and shipping
- Creating receivers using company software
- Checking incoming parts for damage, quantity, and ensuring accuracy
- Packaging and shipping finished products
- Understanding and complying with all documented quality requirements and processes that relate to inventory control and shipping/receiving
- Using company software to process inventory transactions, adjust inventory, create shipping documents, etc. with extreme accuracy
- Perform cycle counts daily and reconcile issues
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work independently will little instruction
- Ability to multitask, responding quickly to requests
- Must interact well with others
- Ability to learn and use the inventory control software (Epicor)
- Must have valid driver's license
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to work on your feet for prolonged periods on time
- Must have good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read job sheets, shipping and receiving documents
- Knowledge of UPS, Fedex, and motor freight shipping methods
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
