Job Summary
*IMMEDIATE OPENINGS * We are seeking all skill levels of journeyman to help our contractors get various jobs around the county done, as well as upcoming projects in the works. If you have a journeyman's card through the state of Michigan, we are looking for electricians who want to give the IBEW a try. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and be capable of executing various tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings, as well as a strong commitment to safety and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
Work with hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks.
Troubleshoot circuits and equipment using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues.
Perform renovations that require electrical modifications while adhering to safety standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations, including the NEC standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while ensuring all safety rules are followed.
Experience
A valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license from the State of Michigan.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team on various projects.
