Journeyman Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, including both low and high voltage applications. This role requires expertise in using hand tools, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical equipment in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. The Journeyperson Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities. Troubleshoot electrical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools. Renovate existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and safety. Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required. Utilize hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as maintenance person services, to ensure comprehensive project completion. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work. Experience working with logic controllers is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Valid electrician's license or certification as required by local regulations.
